Anchorpoint heavily increases efficiency for studios like ours. All the relevant information and files are in one place, so you don’t need to manage multiple tools.
We offer the full functionality of the Team Plan for an annual subscription of €1999 for up to 100 students and teachers. This license is for teaching and not for funded research projects.

Licenses are tied to a workspace. Similar to Slack, there is a workspace to which users can be added. So one person buys all the licenses for the team. The number of licenses is the number of users that can work on projects in a workspace. Learn more about Subscription Management.
You can, but with huge limitations. There is a technical reason for this: licenses are tied to a workspace (similar to Slack or servers on Discord).
On Discord, you need to be on a server to communicate in channels, have conversations with multiple members, etc.
In Anchorpoint, you have to be in the same workspace to properly collaborate.
You can however, push files to e.g. GitHub without being the same workspace, but you cannot use the following features with your team:
To use these features, you must be in the same workspace with licenses from either the Pro or Team Plan. Learn more about Subscription Management.
Yes, you can. Anchorpoint works with pure Git + extras on top. If you need access to features such as:
then you also need to have Anchorpoint running and need a license. If you don't need these features, then you don't need Anchorpoint and can just work with e.g. SourceTree to push and pull code.
Of course. Please take a look at our Refund Policy.
Your Anchorpoint subscription, annual or monthly, will automatically renew until you cancel it. You can go directly to your Customer Portal under "Preferences / Account" and cancel your subscription at the end of the month or year.
Anchorpoint never modifies your production data. It only processes metadata to get a better view of your project and to enable asset management features like tags, comments or file locking handling. Your production data is usually stored on your Git repository or if you use a shared folder for asset management on a Dropbox, Google Drive etc. or NAS.
Tax fees will be added as applicable by law in your country/state/province based on the billing address provided.
Yes, you can combine annual and monthly subscriptions. If you need freelancers for a project, you can add them via the monthly subscription.
Yes, you can always upgrade your plan at any time and only pay the difference to the higher plan for the remaining time. So you don't lose any money.
E.g. you have bought a Professional Plan (yearly) for €144, which is already running for 2 months. Since this plan costs €12 per month, you still have €120 of this €144 credit left.
Calculation: €144 - 2 * €12 = €120
If you want to order e.g. 4 Team licenses (monthly for 4*€25), the remaining €120 will be used up first. That means, your first bill is €0. For the second invoice you will have to pay €80, for the third invoice €100, because the credit is used up.
If you downgrade your plan, we will grant you the difference as a credit. Future bills will then be discounted using this credit.
Anchorpoint does not store production data. You can choose where your data is stored (NAS, Dropbox, AWS, GitHub etc.) We only store metadata (tags, comments, relations etc.) in our cloud. There is no storage limit for that.
Our servers are located in Germany and are ISO 27001 certified. Anchorpoint never uploads production data to our servers, but only manages metadata in text form.
We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe is one of the leading payment providers for online payments and is used by companies like Twitter, Figma or Notion.
You will receive an invoice directly after the purchase in your customer portal. You can access the customer portal by clicking on your avatar open on the right (after you are logged in) and then selecting "Manage Subscription" in the menu.
If that doesn't work, you are welcome to request an invoice via support@anchorpoint.app.
If you are purchasing licenses for a team within your company (e.g. you are working in procurement or IT) get in touch with us via support@anchorpoint.app, and we will send you the invoice. You just need to pay the invoice to activate the workspace for somebody else.
